BT Openreach has announced that by the end of January 2027, all PSTN and ISDN services will be switched off in favour of an All-IP network. The BT PSTN Switch Off is on the horizon, and for small businesses, the clock is ticking. By 2027, the UK’s copper phone network will be shut down for good, meaning all services running on analogue lines will no longer work.
